Mr. Scott
Jackson
Station Manager
Rogers Television London
800 York Street, PO Box 5800
London, Ontario N6A 5B1
July 21, 2003
Dear Mr. Jackson:
In our last telephone conversation of Friday July 4, 2003,
you had indicated no further interest in continuing the negotiation
our organization had initiated with Rogers Television London
under Section 31 of the Status of the Artist Act as per our
registered letter to you of March 6, 2003. In our conversation
of July 4, 2003, I reminded you of your obligation to bargain
with us under the Status of the Artist Act and that I regretted
you informing me of your decision to break off these negotiations.
To date,
our organization has not yet had the courtesy of any written
reply from you or any other Rogers official in this matter.
Due to the absence of any written correspondence at all from
Rogers, this letter is to request your written reply indicating
Rogers official position in this matter at your earliest convenience.
Please
consider this letter a necessary step our organization must
take to try and resolve the impasse and to request that Rogers
Television London resume negotiations with us forthwith.
Sincerely,

Jeremy
